Documentation and AuditsAuthors and/or reviews Standard Operating Processes, work instructions, test specifications, and other documents for accuracy.Follows and ensures compliance to departmental procedures.Develops and maintains audit functions (product, process, and operating system) ensuring quality systems and products are consistent with internal documentation, standards, and customer requirements. 5. SupervisionSelects, develops, and coaches quality technician or engineering personnel to ensure job responsibilities and quality projects are completed to all standards and within timing goals.Provides recognition to employees. Addresses issues with employees with supportive documentation. Adheres to Company policies, procedures, and applicable budget requirements. Conducts timely employee performance reviews. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field; minimum 8 years progressive quality engineering experience; 1-2 years experience in a supervisor position desired; expert knowledge and experience with implementing Six Sigma, Statistical Process Controls, FMEA, process audits and other proactive quality management practices; strong project management and leadership skills with an ability to collaborate with cross functional departments such as R&D, Product Management, and Process Engineering; strong Microsoft Office and ERP systems skills (SAP desired). ASQ Certified Engineer or Auditor preferred; Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing certification or experience also desirable.

Quality Control Analyst responsibilities include:
Assist in Quality Control Reviews of the Retail, Programs, and Brokerage offices on an annual basis
Submit Quality Control reports and responses to the legal department for each office reviewed
Participate in follow-up reviews for profit centers requiring additional consultation
Perform due diligence reviews for potential acquisitions as required
Conduct orientations and overview presentations for newly acquired profit centers
Participate in special projects and assist other corporate departments as necessary
Keep informed of industry developments through review of trade publications, maintenance of related manuals and meeting participation
Participate in annual departmental planning meeting and other meetings as necessary

Individuals hired in the Quality Control program must understand that this is an entry-level, two year training program that prepares them for a career in an area of operations within the company. Work directly with our leadership team to maintain quality standards across our production facility. Perform quality inspections on initial product runs as well as ongoing production. Oversee defect investigation, communication, and correction. Manage the process of gathering quality data to create process metrics to ensure job tolerances are maintained. Administer assessments of internal operations against compliance standards and formulate the appropriate corrective actions. Design and implement training programs to maintain the quality and compliance standards of the company.
